Job Description:

Blue Autism Center is looking for the next PART-TIME (20 Hours/week) BCBA to join our team!

Blue Autism Center is a center-based, trauma-informed ABA provider. We serve 2-8 year olds diagnosed with autism, services are provided in center - No in-home!

Work hours are: Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm - No weekends, No evenings!

We provide small caseloads to BCBAs (3-5 clients for part-time BCBAs, 7-10 clients for full-time BCBAs) to allow BCBAs to thrive.

Services are provided in-center, no travel is required.

Our objective is to create an enjoyable, positive and collaborative work environment for our RBTs, BCBAs, and clients.

Pay:

$50,000 - $52,000

(Based upon experience and 20 hour work week schedule)

Additional Monthly Bonuses

End of the Year Bonus (Up to 5% yearly salary)

Job Requirements:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Related Field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification from the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
Licensed in the state of Utah through the Professional Licensing Board,
Credentialed with insurance companies is a plus, but not a requirement
Have an understanding of the principles of behavior analysis and how these principles are applied in direct treatment of autism
Needs to pass a criminal background check.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct Assessments including the VB-MAPP, and develop appropriate treatment plans and programs
Complete Functional Assessments and develop Behavior Support Plans
Provide supervision and training to interventionists, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
Providing ongoing training to families of our clients
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with families, schools, and other professional services
Meet best practice standards and adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of the BACB. Programs written shall use evidenced - based intervention strategies
Review program data and adjust programs and services based on client data

Blue Autism Center is a non-profit center-based organization that serves young learners ranging from 18 months to eight years old. Our mission is to improve the lives of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder by providing trauma-informed ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy in a structured clinical setting.

We utilize hands-on activities and focus on natural environment teaching to help our clients learn through play. We believe we can help each child we serve reach their highest potential by strictly applying evidence-based strategies. We use these strategies to teach young learners new skills such as communication, social skills, adaptive skills, attending skills, appropriate play skills, classroom skills, and toilet training.

Blue, on a weekly basis, also collaborates with local companies like Browning Speech (speech therapy), Children's Ability Services (occupational therapy), and Harmony Music Therapy (music therapy) to help our clients become more well-rounded individuals during their crucial developmental phase.
