Job Description:

About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This APP will join our Avenues Women's Health team with clinics in Salt Lake City and Bountiful, Utah. Our team includes seven OB/GYN physicians and five APPs, as well as a comprehensive support staff. We focus on providing high-quality care for the full spectrum of women's healthcare needs. We specialize in gynecology, obstetrics, infertility treatments, surgical treatments, and more.
This APP will work in a close, collaborative partnership primarily with one OBGYN physician. They will provide care in clinic supporting both obstetric and gynecologic patients, and round with postpartum patients and provide ER consults. In clinic, the majority of time will be spent providing annual well-woman visits and seeing new patients, as well as some urgent care and follow up visits. The APP may place IUDs, Nexplanon (if certified), perform colposcopies and other routine in-clinic procedures. There is no OR time anticipated for the APP at this time.
Part time, it's anticipated the APP will average 20 hours of work split into three shifts per week.

What you'll bring:
- Current state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Certification as a nurse midwife, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant.
- Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
- Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Prior women's health experience is highly preferred.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
