Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Skier Services Sales Agents book ski lessons, ski rentals, and children's center activities, sell lift ticket products, and process payments at one or more of eight guest-facing locations around the resort.

This job is for an energetic, hard-working team player, who will work with guests in person. The ideal applicant is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys providing superior customer service.

We have a variety of shifts to accommodate business needs. Seasonal full-time or part-time positions available, including paid training program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sell and process ski lessons, ski rentals, children's center activities, and lift ticket products
• Maintain complete and up-to-date guest records across multiple systems
• Provide accurate information to our guests
• Maintain balanced point-of-sale throughout the day
• Accurately process Enrollment & Assumption of Risks Agreements
• Assist with various location responsibilities as assigned by location lead or other supervisory/back-office team members
• Keep informed of new sales processes, policies, and other information through active participation in location meetings and other communication channels
• Keep abreast of resort-specific information pertinent to the job or guests
• Perform basic office duties, including keeping the sales and guest areas stocked, clean, orderly, and safe
• Rotate sales locations to meet business or training needs
• Complete agent training requirements pre-season and ongoing in-season
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• Ability to learn new computer systems and navigate between multiple programs simultaneously
• Attention to detail and high-quality standards
• Effective communication skills, oral and written

WORKING CONDITIONS AND OTHER PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sit and/or stand behind a counter and/or a computer for 5-9 hours a day, four to five days a week (for full-time)
• Flexible with schedule and available to work weekends and holidays
• Work in a busy, indoor environment, frequently conversing with team members, guests, and other employees
• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 25 pounds on an occasional basis

PAY RATE:

• Pay: $21.00 per hour
