Overview Pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule's: Night Watch schedule: 10:45pm - 3:15am or 2:45am - 7:15 am Undergraduate Clinical Internships available Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling journey as a Youth Mentor at Sunrise? Our team works tirelessly to uncover the academic, social, and emotional potential of students held back by emotional and behavioral struggles. We incorporate Relational DBT into every aspect of our program, ensuring that our therapists and staff are trained to help students practice these skills continually. Responsibilities Safety and Well-being: Ensure student safety during traditional sleeping hours, staying awake and alert throughout the shift.Bed Checks: Conduct bed checks every 15 minutes to monitor student safety and address needs.Student Assistance: Provide support and care to students who are ill or experiencing difficulties.Observation and Documentation: Accurately observe and document student behavior.Daily Assignments: Complete all responsibilities effectively during each shift.Specialized Tasks: Undertake specialized assignments from the Supervisor as needed.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Day Staff for seamless transitions between shifts. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 21 years old or older Current driver's license and a good driving record Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships. Ability to set and teach positive values Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid. Ability to safely hold or restrain an upset or combative student Skill in de-escalating agitated students.
