Burlington, Vermont: We seek 2 talented GASTROENTEROLOGISTS to practice in this highly desirable New England city. Practice in a positive, supportive and collaborative environment with the latest tools and equipment (including surgical robots).Join fellow Gastroenterologists in a broad scope hospital-based service caring for a growing patient population. Expect an interesting mix as GI Hospitalist/inpatient consultant and clinic-based specialist. Your role includes diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and conditions as well as endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. This GI practice is part of an integrated academic division serving 6 hospitals in Vermont and New York. The hospital has a large referral base, and excellent inpatient and outpatient facilities to deliver a broad spectrum of high-quality gastroenterology care. The EMR (EPIC) is available in clinic and inpatient settings, and with all campuses throughout the system.Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with state-of-the-art tools and facilities. The University of Vermont provides a Level I trauma center and is a leader in patient care, medical education and research. You will be eligible for an academic appointment (Assistant or Associate Professor, based on experience and/or prior academic rank) that includes teaching medical students, residents and fellows in addition to your important clinical role.
