Job Title: Local Class A Driver - Milton, VT

Department: Fleet

Reports to : Dispatch

Purpose :

The local shuttle driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight and empty trailers to/from customer yards. Bellavance local drivers are our Swiss army knives; they are versatile, resourceful, go above and beyond, and are capable of tackling anything.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to shuttle goods between designated locations.

• Demonstrate proficiency in cranking landing gear and swinging doors.

• Maintain a keen awareness of traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the secure transportation of goods.

• Collaboration is key in the local Class A driver role. You will need to work effectively with dispatchers and fellow team members to coordinate schedules and deliveries and ensure smooth operations.

• Willing to work OT.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A and Med Card.

• Minimum of 1-year experience driving, willing to train the right person with a Class A.

• Worked for two or fewer companies in the past year.

• There have been less than two moving violations in the last two years.

• Sunday - Thursday 4 AM - 2 PM
