Job description

In this role you will work cross functionally with departments such as manufacturing, engineering and operations to ensure high quality products are being produced. You will collect and analyze data as well and run use numerous continuous improvement tools such as RCA, CAPA and Six Sigma techniques to improve quality processes.

Description

  • Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
  • Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
  • Development and execution of Quality Plans for customer accounts.
  • Drive improvement of Quality through analyzing non-conformance's and performing root cause analysis of discrepancies.
  • Collect data about instances of product errors and investigate possible solutions by troubleshooting the manufacturing or design process.
  • Apply strong theoretical knowledge of electronics manufacturing engineering principles to identify issues which could or will impact product quality.
  • Propose, review and implement approved corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze/modify current product processes and implement improvements.
  • Perform a variety of complex engineering tasks to improve the reliability and manufacturability of products.

Profile

  • BS in Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing, preferably within materials or defense
  • ISO9001 and AS9100 experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive for results
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing Principals
  • Working knowledge of SPC, Design of Experiments and Gage Design
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
