Inova Mount Vernon Hospital Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) 7:30 am-6:00pm Monday-Thursday

Inova Mount Vernon is looking for a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-6:00pm.

Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) Responsibilities:

• Assists physicians in performing a variety of examinations by using standard department protocols, isolation precautions, and/or sterile techniques.

• Recognizes clinical and/or emergent problems that may interfere with exams and takes appropriate action to resolve them and produce the most desirable outcomes.

Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.

• American Registered Radiologic Technologists within 12 months of hire;

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Upon Start Must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System free-standing Imaging Center not affiliated with an Inova hospital.

• One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology. Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist or student. OR experience is required.

• Basic Life Support Certification

Pay: $28.74 - $41.32 per hour
