Description: Mayvin is seeking a VAS / Fire Support SME Senior who will oversee developing, integrating, and fielding advanced visual and fire support systems for USSOCOM at Ft. Belvoir, VA. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and ensuring the successful deployment of cutting-edge technology to enhance the operational capabilities of special operations forces. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must possess an active Secret Clearance and be eligible for a Top Secret. Responsibilities : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of VAS and fire support programs, ensuring alignment with USSOCOM objectives and timelines Serve as the primary point of contact between USSOCOM, contractors, and other government agencies involved in the VAS and fire support projects Provide technical guidance and oversight for the development and integration of VAS technology, including augmented reality (AR) systems, sensor fusion, and targeting systems Manage program budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope Identify and mitigate risks associated with the integration and deployment of advanced systems in a military environment Ensure all program activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, providing regular updates to senior leadership on program status and performance Develop and oversee training programs for end-users, ensuring they are proficient in the operation and maintenance of VAS and fire support systems Qualifications : A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited university. VAS and/or Fire Support experience Preferred Qualifications: Acquisition and/or Contracting and/or Program Manager experience. Special operations experience Strong communication, organizational, creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members, clients, and company management. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks. Willingness to travel.
