Job description

The Opportunity:
IntePros Federal is seeking an Agile Coach to join our team in support of a federal customer located in Alexandria VA, supporting Agile Transformation efforts founded on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) values and principles. This position will play a vital role supporting all members and stakeholders to understand and adopt the lean-agile mindset. The successful candidate will be able to work across organizational boundaries to facilitate communication and collaboration. The position reports under the Office of Information Technology organization while working with business and technical stakeholders to adapt best practices that align with the Agency plans and objectives. The Agile Coach will work with the Value Management Office (VMO) and Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) to develop standards and coach, train and facilitate their adoption.

Locations: • Onsite in Alexandria, VA
Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in technology related field
Preferred: Master's Degree in IT or related field
Responsibilities:
• Developing and maintaining the Agile Transformation roadmap. • Navigating the organizations adopt their role in the transformation initiative.
• Create and facilitate Agile workshops supporting the transformation.
• Provide visibility and understanding of team performance to allow teams to take continuous improvement actions.
• Support implementation of Agile Community of Practice. Qualifications: • 5 years SAFe Agile experience
• 8+ years IT project experience
• Open minded
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently in support of a common vision.
• Effective Agile Coaching experience at all levels of an organization.
• US Federal Government experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with the Scaled Agile Framework.
• Track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments.
• Strong skills facilitating, collaborating, leading, training, and coaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance.
• Expert understanding of metrics and measurements used to determine team performance.
• Experience working with technologist and business leaders.
• Conflict Management and resolution.
• SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC6)
• Expert understanding of Operational and Developmental Value Streams
• Experience utilizing agile delivery/ALM tools (Jira, TFS/Azure DevOps). • Expert with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow (SN)'s Platform and the Project Portfolio Module(s) (PPM). Desired Skills:
• Kanban Management Professional (KMP).
• Jira Certifications (Jira Administration for Cloud, Managing Jira Projects for Cloud).
• Experience within US DOJ.
• Change Agent/ Organizational Change Expert.
• Experience working within Agency-level technology organizations.
• IT Operations, Architecture, Development, Service Management experience.
• ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) certification or equivalent. Certifications:
• Required: o SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC6)
• Desired: o One or more of the following certifications: SAFe Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe DevOps, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Release Train Engineer
