In this role you will travel the world, hone your skills, and provide technical security systems that protect US diplomats and citizens abroad. What You'll Be Doing: The Technical Security Systems Integrator shall perform configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of networked Technical Security Systems (TSS) for US Department of State missions, to include: Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
Emergency Notification Systems (ENS)
Automated Access Control Systems (AACS)
Closed Circuit Television/Surveillance Systems (CCTV)
Video Management Systems (VMS)
Environmental/Power Monitoring Systems
Layer 2/3 Network Appliances (Routers, Switches, Firewalls) Additionally, the Systems Integrator shall perform the following: Provide onsite training to end users on all integrated systems
Provide remote troubleshooting and assistance to end users
Adhere to standards and commissioning procedures
Understand and follow project designs/schematics
Complete required project documentation and ensure project as-builts are accurate
International Travel 50-75% What Required Skills You'll Bring: 2 years of experience with integration/configuration of Technical Security Systems
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field (may be substituted with 5 or more years of relative integration experience and 2 or more relevant certifications) What Desired Skills You'll Bring: CompTIA Security+ Certification

Cisco Certifications (i.e. CCNA)
Juniper Certifications
Palo Alto Certifications
Genetec Security Center Certification
Software House CCure 9000 Certification Work Location: Alexandria, VA Citizenship/Passport/Security Clearance: The candidate must be a US citizen with an active SECRET clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Candidate required to live in proximity to the National Capital Region.
