The Opportunity: The Department of Defense's (DoD) infrastructure is evolving to meet ambitious climate goals, growing energy demands, and critical resilience requirements. Furthermore, new technology, community involvement, and public-private partnerships are creating new infrastructure opportunities for the DoD. As a result, infrastructure financing and acquisition are changing. That's why we need you, a highly skilled and motivated Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the new acquisition prototypes for various infrastructure-related projects and programs, with a particular focus on energy. This role requires an understanding of federal acquisition regulations ( FAR ) , DoD procurement policies , excellent problem-solving, and the lead multiple stakeholders with different perspectives toward the same goal. The position also requires developing and maintaining relationships with contracting agency partners, military installation leaders, legal teams, and senior clients. C ond uct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Additional responsibilities include project planning, meeting facilitation, evaluating supplier capabilities, and c ond ucting market research. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: +5 years of experience with federal government procurement or contract management +1 years of experience with energy project acquisition types, including Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs), Utility Energy Service Contracts (UESCs), Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), or Utilities Privatization (UP) contracts Experience with providing recommendations for acquisition program teams on acquisition pathways, including documentation tailoring and baselining Experience with planning, tracking, and meeting due dates for multiple tasks across multiple programs Experience with collaborating successfully with individuals at all levels to accomplish tasks within stated deadlines Ability to adapt to changing environments while maintaining performance and quality of work products Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles appropriate to target audience Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred; Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
