Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrative Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position involves supporting the Nurse Consultant and Medical Director in program development, system improvements, employee relations, and clinical oversight across the nation. The Administrative Nurse will provide direct nursing care and coordinate administrative activities, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Clinical Oversight:
- Assist the Nurse Consultant and Medical Director in the development and improvement of healthcare programs and systems.
- Provide clinical oversight and support to various FOH health centers, ensuring that all services are delivered according to agency agreements and FOH policies.
- Participate in quality improvement reviews, ensuring that all services under Type I and Type II agreements are properly delivered and recorded in the FOH MIS.
- Direct Nursing Care and Administrative Coordination:
- Provide direct nursing care and coordinate administrative activities at one or more FOH health centers.
- Oversee and support other healthcare providers, ensuring that staffing levels and service delivery meet organizational standards.
- Assist with the orientation and training of new healthcare providers, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their duties.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with interagency agreements, FOH policies, and agency-specific procedures.
- Monitor and report site-specific issues, such as staffing concerns, to the Nurse Consultant or Medical Director in a timely manner.
- Serve as the AED site coordinator if designated by the COTR and Agency Point of Contact, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Communication and Leadership:
- Maintain open communication with the Nurse Consultant, Medical Director, and other healthcare providers to address site-specific challenges and improve service delivery.
- Act as a leader within the healthcare team, ensuring that all staff are supported and that patient care standards are upheld.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Health or related fields such as public health, community health, outpatient clinic, school nursing, or physician office nursing.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with current CPR and AED certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of nursing practice and occupational health unit functions.
- Familiarity with quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Compensation - Min: $50,000/ Max: $70,000
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
