What You'll Be Doing

Cadmus' International Development Division is actively seeking an Analyst for its Economic Engagement and Private Sector Development team. The Analyst will provide project back-stopping support to multiple field projects, provide technical research support to various deliverable efforts, and support business development efforts when needed.

Responsibilities:
Serve as project assistant for overseas international development projects-overseeing administrative, contractual, and financial aspects of projects

Liaise with Cadmus' Corporate Finance Department to track project spending, provide periodic financial forecasts, and review monthly invoices

Manage travel, logistics and relocation for field-based staff in compliance with USAID regulations and Cadmus policies

Maintain project controls and adherence with policies and procedures

Serve as proposal support; helping to draft sections of proposal, manage budget elements and conducting research

Support event coordination and workshops for regional programs

Tailor contract templates for consultants, subcontractors, and clients

Copy-edit project deliverables and reports

Conduct research or data analysis and prepare draft reports (or inputs) for senior staff or project consultants

Contribute to start-up and close-down of field offices as needed to ensure successful starts to activities

Coordinate across Cadmus leverage teams to support successful project implementation

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in international development/affairs, business, economics, or related field and 0-2 years of work experience

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills (you will interact with employees, consultants, partners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors)

Excellent communication (oral and written), research, and presentation skills
Preferred skills & qualifications:

A minimum of one year of experience in administrative or support roles relevant to the international development field preferred; we will also consider other internships or work experience that demonstrates independent decision-making, customer-interfacing responsibilities, and mentoring/training of others

Strong analytical and computer skills, including spreadsheet and financial tracking

Strong language skills in French or Spanish; other languages widely spoken in the developing world may be considered in place of these languages

Relevant overseas work or internship experience in a developing country context

Experience in relevant topics such as digital connectivity, regional economic integration, gender and social inclusion, private sector development and international trade.

Experience with USAID-funded and/or other donor-funded project

Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $60,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
