Job Title: Business Analyst/Document Imaging Specialist
Clearance Required: US Citizen; DHS Public Trust
Work Location: Hybrid - Arlington, VA & Remote (onsite 3 days a week at client site in Arlington) Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified a Business Analyst to support an IT portfolio within a PMO for one of our clients. Key Responsibilities: Perform post-processing tasks such as image enhancement, color correction, and file organization utilizing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
Utilize high-resolution scanners, cameras, and other image capturing devices to digitize complex documents for archival purposes
File management for organizing, categorizing, and managing large volumes of digital images (350,000 documents in the digital library)
Present documented requirements to stakeholders for feedback
Suggest product improvements or enhancements to increase end-user satisfaction
Facilitate and lead meetings with various internal and external stakeholders
Scanning, editing, documenting, and meta tagging digital documents and images
Required Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or an IT related field, which can be substituted for technical certifications or relevant experience
Experience/Skills:
Strong attention to detail
Strong proficiency with Information Technology
Familiarity with computer operating systems
Familiarity and quick to understand software applications (including forensic applications)
Familiarity with Adobe suite of tools
Demonstrated experience scanning, editing, documenting, and meta tagging digital documents and images
Ability to gather requirements from customers in a proactive manner
Experience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to ask probing questions to business team members
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail
Must be comfortable handling PII
Preferred Qualifications: Experience utilizing Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
Familiarity with image file formats, editing tools, color spaces, and resolution terminology.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure
Intermediate or above SharePoint experience with permissions governance, migration, and organization
