Focusing heavily on MEP and HVAC systems, with potential integrations of solar panels and microgrids. With a team of about 50 employees, they primarily serve the Federal Government but also undertakes projects in municipalities, universities, hospitality, and data centers.

Description

My client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in Government projects.

  • Lead and manage all phases of project development, from pre-construction activities like estimating and bidding to execution and closeout.
  • Coordinate with engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring efficient use of time and materials.
  • Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, including security and safety standards, particularly on government projects.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication with clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to oversee on-site activities and resolve issues.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Experience with government projects
  • Proven track record of running jobs from cradle to grave
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
