The position will afford you the opportunity to support the AFRCO Chief of Pricing by providing pricing support in the evaluation of government proposals. Specifically provides advice, guidance, and recommendations to procurement personnel in the resolution of a wide variety of cost and pricing issues. This position will be located on-site in Crystal City, VA. This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your TopSecret/SCI level Clearance. The Analyst shall assist Contracting Officers with cost objectives and ensuring they are based on sound pricing principles, review and evaluate contract price proposals for adequacy and compliance with laws, regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). The Contractor shall conduct in depth analysis and evaluation of proposals and present results for the Contracting Officer to determine reasonableness, accuracy, timeliness and completeness. In this role, you will: Utilize knowledge of federal, DoD, and Air Force contracting and pricing regulations, policies, and processes to specific situations. Assist Contracting Officers in determining cost objectives and ensure they are based on sound pricing principles. Act as the primary cost/price analyst on extremely complex or sensitive contracting issues. When required, serve on short-term and long-term teams to deal with specific or unprecedented pricing issues. Servs as the technical expert in pricing related matters. Review and evaluate contract price proposals for adequacy and compliance with laws, regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Conduct in depth analytical and judgmental evaluation of proposals to determine reasonableness, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. Manage significant and complex agency acquisitions involving diverse supplies and services. Evaluate technical, audit reports, and legal opinions to determine the various cost elements or justified exceptions in terms of factors, like risk, extent of government assistance, problems of capital investment, and extent of subcontracting. Qualifications In this role, you will have: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with a minimum of 10 years in an acquisition related discipline; at least 1 year of experience in DoD/IC environment with demonstrated SCI/SAP working environment experience. Must have an active TS/SCI clearance. Must be proficient in classifed accouting systems Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work under aggressive schedules with demanding performance requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office Active and valid driver's license CONUS travel required In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $117,838.18 to $196,396.28; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills Company Overview Serco Inc.
