Lucayan Technology Solutions is hiring a Cybersecurity SME to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Responsibilities: Serve as lead advisor and engineer for cybersecurity strategies in priority services. Act as SME for Next Generation 911 and Cyber/Public Key Infrastructure efforts. Support classified meetings and cyber working groups; document meeting minutes and prepare reports. Designate a project manager for contract performance and communication. Develop security architecture and provide guidance based on CISA and DHS best practices. Assist in proof-of-concept efforts for acquisition programs. Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities to mobile networks; recommend countermeasures. Assess risks to internet traffic and continuity of government operations. Analyze vulnerabilities in emerging network services (e.g., powerline networks, satellite internet). Provide guidance on policies and security controls to mitigate threats. Stay updated on relevant cybersecurity technologies and trends. Support full life cycle for PCS IT systems, including migration and retirement. Offer cybersecurity architecture guidance and assist in CISA security assessments. Support system certification and implementation of security controls. Develop necessary system documentation and coordinate with CISA CIO and vendors. Assist in strategic planning for future Next Generation network programs. Provide ad-hoc personnel support for cybersecurity consulting and systems support. Create a transition plan for transferring tasks and materials to new contractors or the Government. Document inventory of services and schedule briefings for effective handover. Qualifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification A Minimum of 10 years cybersecurity work experience Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Project Management, or related field TS/SCI Clearance
