Remote, Continental-US-Based

As one of the newest Chenega companies, Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS) was developed with the purpose of providing expert Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal customers.

The Data Scientist will assist with business analytics and work to identify opportunities for process automation and tool development within a financial investigation's context.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine business analytics processes for a US Government organization responsible for operational data sets.

• Assist with the development of investigation analysis capabilities and systems support.

• Work as part of a small team and alone on help desk taskings and ticketing data flows, report generation, and dashboard visualization of key performance indicator data for the organization.

• Create database queries and manipulate data sets (structured and unstructured), as well as automate routine business processes and report production.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• 3+ years of experience

• Data Science

• Technology Integration

• Experience working with financial crimes a plus

• Top Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Self-starter and problem solver

• Excellent communication verbal and written skills

• Knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge of SQL Server

• Knowledge of Macro Language

• Knowledge of SAS

• Knowledge of SAS Programming

• Knowledge of SAP Desktop

• Knowledge of Visual Basic

• Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

• Knowledge of MS Access
