Work You'll Do This Data Steward Manager will perform: Data Governance: Understand and apply data governance principles and practices in accordance with DoD policy, strategy, and implementation plans.
Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination across multiple offices (directorates) and act as primary data stewards point of contact to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
Customer Service
Attention to Detail: Data stewards meticulously manage data, identify inconsistencies, and maintain data integrity.
Collaboration: Work closely with data owners, users, and IT teams to ensure effective data management, and ongoing pain points in the advancement of digital modernization efforts.

The GPS AI & Data Engineering offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights. Qualifications Required: Active Top Secret security clearance required Master's degree required
10+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, and data management
6+ years of experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and KPI development
6+ years of experience with Advana OR Databricks, Qlik, or Collibra
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred: Experience with at least one of the following functional areas: Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer science, or Programming
One year of experience serving within a DoD organization.
