Position Summary: ABSC is seeking a Database Specialist with TS/SCI and CompTIA Security + certification (or equivalent) to join our team in Arlington, VA. The U.S. Research Laboratories and Engineering Centers are developing the advanced technology that will form the heart of the Army-s future fighting force. When foreign Governments and companies illegally acquire knowledge of the U.S. advanced technologies it is also essential that the Army understand the effect of that compromise. This team will support the Research and Technology Protection (RTP) and Cyber Intrusion Damage Assessment (CIDA) program. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Ability to write database commands in SQL, be familiar with Java and C#, and possess some knowledge about Microsoft tools and technologies including Visual Studio, MC, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework. Ability to update, revise, design, program, develop, test, implement, troubleshoot, document, and administer SharePoint 2013, Microsoft Access 2010 or later, and Microsoft SQL 2008 customized relational databases that support data entry; data import; subsequent data updates; secure storage; data retrieval, queries, and multiple report display options depending on user access level; and user account access to levels of database functionality based on assigned access levels. Desired: Additional certifications in IT programs related to experience are preferred, but not required. Recommended certifications for the SQL database developer role are the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Data Platform or the Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional. Experience with the Office 365 / SharePoint / Teams environment, plus Power BI and Power Automate are strongly preferred. Experience Required for this Role: 6 years Database Development experience.
