Location & Travel: The DoD Financial Analyst position will be a hybrid role based in Crystal City, VA with the ability to go on-site 2-3 days per week and attend on-site meetings as needed. Security Clearance: The Financial Analyst must be a United States Citizen and hold a current DoD Secret security clearance. Mission - ADVANA Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols. Responsibilities We are seeking a highly client-facing Financial Management Analyst to join our Advana team. As a key member of our Department of Defense (DoD) financial management team, you will play a crucial role in leveraging financial data and processes, to deliver meaningful insight to our DoD customers. Qualifications Candidates should possess a deep knowledge of accounting, with experience in general ledgers, reconciliations, and experience with DoD financial systems. Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Financial Management Analyst, preferably within the DoD or government sector.
• Proficiency in SAP-FM, Oracle, or SQL, and Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI, with a track record of leveraging these tools to drive meaningful insights and support decision-making.
• Experience working with transaction details in government financial accounting systems
• Experience interpreting financial reports, performing financial statement analysis, and providing recommendations.
• Analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
