The Opportunity: As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients' missions. We're looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country's defense acquisition and contract process. On our team, you'll support and draft program milestone documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and Service-level series directives, and analyze program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. You'll apply advanced consulting and extensive te chn ical expertise, and full industry knowledge, to develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, including advising F-35 Joint Program Office clients on DoD acquisition program management. You'll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You'll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project's success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you'll deliver meaningful acquisition support. You'll work independently and review or guide the activities of junior employees. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 7+ years of experience supporting a DoD acquisition program and implementing DoD requirements and acquisition processes
Experience with DoD aviation or weapon system program development or production
Experience with engineering program management
Knowledge of cost, schedule, performance, and risk management
Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: 10+ years of experience in DoD acquisition
Experience with 5th Generation fighter acquisition, including F-35 and F-22
Experience working in a DoD classified program
Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies , procedures, and processes
Knowledge of DoD requirements and budget processes
Ability to work in a highly demanding and highly visible program
Ability to communicate work across multiple teams
Top Secret clearance Master's degree
PMP or DAU Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
