Responsibilities Empower AI: As an Asset Management Imaging Technician, you will perform asset management imaging activities at all locations supporting organizational staff members within the Joint Service Provider (JSP) user community and you will interact daily with Service Deck Technicians to ensure productivity and provide resolution to asset management imaging issues that the Service Deck Technicians may have with existing desktops, laptops & tablets. As an Asset Management Imaging Technician, you will apply your comprehensive knowledge of asset management Imaging to ensure asset management services are delivered in a timely fashion. You will provide input to configuration management planning; Assist in provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits; Participate in the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into the customer infrastructure. Assist in the workforce analytical and planning experience and using sound judgment in carrying out asset management tasks. You will also assist in identifying, researching and resolving problems I n assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI's mission to fundamentally improve how the government conducts business and help its leaders achieve their missions by realizing the promise of AI. Highlights of Responsibilities: Execute processes and procedures to create and maintain workstation images and build new systems using a standard imaging process using PXE boot in Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) Utilize software installation scripts for automated software installations Follow procedures for receipt and issue of materials and equipment Create SNOW tickets to report image failures and track progress to resolution Supports distribution of equipment, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to monitor and ensure desired delivery times Duties include unboxing computers from warehouse, tracking assets in SNOW tickets, working with DPAS Property Custodians to assure proper asset tracking . Be knowledgeable on the company's policies and procedures of company and government asset management associated with imaging IT equipment Supports all government property and software audits of IT equipment being imaged Assess, manage and track several pieces of IT equipment being imaged simultaneously in various stages of production while working under deadlines Leveraging technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the imaging process Manage the supply chain of equipment to ensure sufficient bench stock levels and timely delivery of equipment Qualifications Qualifications: Clearance Required: US Department of Defense (DOD) issued Secret clearance. Strong customer service orientation. Understands government property administration and accounting duties and practices Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to conduct research into PC and software issues and products as required. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment. Required Education and Experience: Required Experience: 2-5 years' experience. Required Education: Bachelors or equivalent, including consideration of vendor certification in the technology being applied such as Microsoft MCP or Novell CNE. ITILv4 Foundation minimum certification preferred.
