Job Description IT Asset Manager Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experience IT Asset Manager to support our client. The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of IT assets within the organization. This includes procurement, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of hardware and software assets. The ideal candidate will ensure that our IT assets are managed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and industry standards
In This Role You Will:
Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT assets using asset management software. Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and standards. Conduct regular audits and inventories to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to optimize asset usage and cost. Monitor and manage software licenses to ensure compliance with vendor agreements. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Provide training and support to staff on asset management processes and tools. Generate reports and metrics on asset performance, utilization, and lifecycle status. Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in IT asset management.
Communicate regular updates, reports and deliverables to Stakeholders. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in of relevant experience in IT asset management or a related role, preferably within large enterprise settings.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including lookups, pivot tables, and fuzzy lookups). Proficiency in JIRA and ServiceNow.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of IT asset management software and tools is a plus. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Master's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Certification in IT Asset Management (e.g., ITIL, CHAMP, CITAM). Experience with enterprise asset management systems. Understanding of software licensing and compliance.
Prior Government experience and/or PACES experience preferred. Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
