Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst at a client site in Arlington, Virginia . A successful LMI Logistics Analystdemonstrates competency in strategic logistics analysis, critical thinking, strategic communication, technical writing, and relationship management while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position cannot be supported remotely. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Preparing speeches, slide decks, and talking points for Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members for use at a wide range of internal and external engagements. Writing articles for publication in professional journals on behalf of Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members. Developing and executing a strategic communication strategy across varying media. Responding to varying requests for information - sent from Congress or other agencies within the Department of Defense - and performing qualitative and quantitative logistics analysis in tandem with multiple agencies to support exhaustive responses. Performing any ad hoc analysis as requested by Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members. Executing briefings on performed analysis before Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree required. Degree in supply chain management, political science, public policy, economics, or a related discipline is preferred. This position requires five (5) or more years of work experience. Superior communication skills, both oral and written. Self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, with the ability to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities with minimal guidance. Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training. This position requires an active security clearance at the SECRET level. You must be a US citizen. DESIRED SKILLS Master's degree in supply chain management, political science, public policy, economics, or a related discipline. Army logistics and sustainment knowledge/experience is strongly desired. Strong quantitative skills to support ad hoc analysis, including the ability to use spreadsheet, database, and project management software.
