Depending on the assignment, this unique role will design, develop, maintain and support the organization's technical infrastructure, hardware and system software across projects. Additionally, the NSE will work on system updates to refine computer networks ensuring systems reflect business and project needs. The NSE must be able to adjust quickly to real-time changing priorities within a complex and fluid environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a unique blend of technical mastery, creativity and collaboration. Additionally, candidates must be service oriented and focused on continuous learning. Candidates who demonstrate GREAT knowledge, have at least 2+ years' hands-on experience (for the early career openings) and 5+ years' (for the mid-level career) designing and supporting AWS environment and utilizing AWS standards such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Amazon Inspector, GuardDuty, Container Security, etc. are preferred! Key Certifications: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP Annual Salary range: $110,000 - $127,000 (early career opening)

Network Security Engineer AWS APPLY NOW N E T W O R K E N G I N E E R I N G / A D M I N I S T R A T I O N duties
1. Develop, maintain and support technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for mid- to large-sized projects. May include installing / configuring network equipment; May include administering, managing and maintaining all cisco routers, switches, firewalls, software and appliances
2. Identify issues, determine and develop approach to solutions. 3. Perform installation, maintenance, and support of system software / hardware and providing user support. May be responsible for creating and updating manuals to support users and resolve common issues.
4. Identify key barriers / core problems; apply problem solving skills in order to deal with complex situations. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems; make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results. 6. Perform network engineering and roll out implementation, configuration, debugging and support for multiple platforms.
7. Utilize IT knowledge (e.g. TCP/IP, AWS services, technologies - IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, CloudWatch and CloudTrail, Route 53, RDS, SSM, ElasticSearch and Lambda, etc.) to support & develop company networks, coordinate with appropriate leadership to administer portal, identify network needs and provide assistance to employees and other individuals on how to use the network effectively. 8. Monitor computer systems to maintain / improve network performance for all systems; analyze, troubleshoot, resolve and communicate networking issues to employees and management as appropriate. Implement disaster recovery procedures 9. Create firewalls and update virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected

• Keeps informed of industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional associations etc. to support operations.

Basic Qualifications • Must be a citizen of the United States
• Ability to acquire and maintain an agency / government security clearance; Current Secret and Current Interim Secret clearance is required
• Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements.
• At least 18 years of age Education/Experience • An Associates Degree from an accredited institution. Relevant IT and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. • Certifications: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or Security+ CE
• At least two (2) to five (5) years of relevant IT experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. • Experience monitoring and tuning platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved. • Hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS environment and utilizing AWS administrator portal. • Experience in AWS services and technologies such as IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, CloudWatch and CloudTrail, Route 53, RDS, SSM, ElasticSearch and Lambda.
