Job description

Position: Senior Budget Analyst (Senior) Clearance: Secret Location: Crystal City, VA (Hybrid telework, up to 2X per week in office ) Type: Exempt, Full Time, Regular Description: Supports an Army Program Management Office (PMO) by performing budget management tasks to include: Performing budget execution involving annual and multi-year direct and reimbursable Army and DoD appropriations;
Processing incoming reimbursable documents, vouchers, billings, and returns; Controlling and documenting upward adjustments and "cancelled to current" transactions;
Monitoring and reporting on obligations incurred and resulting expenditures;
Overseeing, updating, tracking, and reconciling budget execution information;
Obtaining, compiling, and summarizing information for use by others;
Making daily decisions concerning tracking of transactions and recommend solutions to complex budget problems;
Providing budget advisory services to extensive and diverse customer base;
Using automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily) Experience using General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) required.
Familiarity and experience with the following systems desired: Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Army Resource Cloud, cProbe, Army Program Management System (APMS), Information Technology Approval System (ITAS), cSustain, Defense Travel System (DTS), Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT), Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR), ADVANA Dormant Account Review Quarterly (DAR-Q), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and others.
Fiscal Law certification preferred
Senior: A Program Budget Analyst Senior has over 10 years of experience, and a MA/MS degree or equivalent years of experience. A Senior labor category typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior labor category may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
