As a Cybersecurity/IT Program Manager 2,you will: Provide critical support in protecting our country. Lead a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals supporting our customer's Cybersecurity and Technical ServicesContract. Act as aconduit for clear, consistent communicationbetween AMERICAN SYSTEMS leadership, team leads, and the customer to ensure alignment and transparency. A week in the life of a Cybersecurity/IT Program Manager 2: Interacts with the Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Information System Security Manager (ISSM), and Team Lead(s) to ensure government goals and requirements are aligned with the contractor's efforts. Providessenior-level insight and understandingof Federal, DoD, DoN, and NAVAIRacquisition policies and practicessupporting CS and IT services. Evaluates approaches and potential solutions to complex CS and IT requirements andprovides recommendationsthat support program objectives. Performsmanagerial administrative dutiesforgeographically dispersedCybersecurity and ITcontractorteams. Integrates, monitors and balances resourcesacross multiple work streamsand CS and IT projects. Assesses security controlsand reviewsSSPsandPOA&Msto evaluate effectiveness and ensures proper protection of associated Information Systems. Coordinates withAmerican Systems management team members for cross contract and programmatic synergyin a very dynamic computing environment. Providestimely and accurate fulfillment of all CDRL deliverablesand other documentationto meet customer and contract requirements. Job Requirements TS/SCI clearance- Candidate must be willing to take a Polygraph Bachelor's degree in an information technology-related field Contract managementexperience Demonstrated experience and knowledgeof Federal, Department of Defense, and Department of theNavyacquisition practices. 7+ years of demonstrated relevant experience as aProgram Manager for IT & Cybersecurityon programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity. 5+ years of demonstrated relevant experience with supporting Cybersecurity activities insecure processing environments Working knowledge ofDISA SRGs, STIGs, and the JSIG. This position is100% on-sitewith occasional travel to team sites.Requires 10%-20% travel. Valuable skills that would be helpful in this role: Familiarity with High Performance Computing Environments (HPCE) Experience with LINUX Knowledge of MS Project Exposure to cloud computing AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000.Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
