Position Title: Project Manager Location: Arlington, VA Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: • Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. • Team Coordination and Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Facilitate regular team meetings to track progress, address issues, and ensure timely project delivery. • Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact. Resolve project-related issues and conflicts by implementing effective solutions. • Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to manage project-related financial processes. • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and outcomes. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in project management or a similar role. • Proven experience managing projects in industry/field . • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong leadership and team management abilities. • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification. • Experience with change management processes. • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
