Job Number: R Radio Frequency Engineer
Key Role: Support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency ( DARPA ) with creating, managing, and transitioning cutting-edge research and te chn ology developments utilizing deep expertise in RF design as a te chn ical consultant. Work with DARPA research program managers to assess the te chn ical feasibility of emerging research and identify areas where strategic investment could have transformative impact to defense te chn ologies. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with te chn ical program management and program development, and brief materials out for government Research and Development ( R & D ) efforts. Work with world-class scientists in driving forward groundbreaking research efforts that aim to leverage RF challenges to address critical EW programs for DoD. Maintain and leverage te chn ical expertise and relationships in serving clients. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with radio frequency systems or electronic warfare te chn ologies
3+ years of experience authoring te chn ical papers, reports, or program plans for te chn ical and non-te chn ical audiences Ability to commute to Arlington, VA Top Secret clearance Master's degree in a Computational Electromagnetics ( CEM ) , Physics, or Electrical Engineering field Additional Qualifications: Experience developing systems in a collaborative team environment
Experience with defense R & D
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Possession of excellent organization and client service skills TS/SCI clearance Doctorate degree in CEM, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
