Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Acquisition Analyst with a TS/SCI clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. Koniag Professional Services (KPS)currently has an opening for a Sr. Acquisition Analyst for the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer's (CDAO) Acquisition Office. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the CDAO's growth and innovation strategies through the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic acquisitions. This role involves leading end-to-end contracting processes, from market research and due diligence to post-award lessons learned. The candidate will work closely with Agreements Officers, Acquisition Branches leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure that acquisitions align with CDAO objectives and contribute significantly to the organization's overall success. Responsibilities: Contributes to the development and refinement of the organization's acquisition strategy within the digital and AI landscape. Conducts in-depth market analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes. Leads due diligence efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to assess legal, operational, financial, and technical aspects of potential acquisitions. Conducts comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation assessments and the development of financial models to support decision-making. Prepares detailed business cases outlining strategic rationale, synergies, and risk mitigation strategies for proposed acquisitions. Presents findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, gaining buy-in and support for proposed acquisitions. Collaborates with integration teams to ensure smooth post-acquisition integration, supporting key milestones and objectives. Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders and industry Prepares documentation review for various documents, including acquisition, other program document, and technical papers, and correspondence. Ensure documents are prepared in the appropriate format and are free from grammatical errors. Assists other team members in other tasks and initiatives as needed to accomplish the overall mission. Requirements: 10 years of experience Knowledge of and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the DoD-specific acquisition policies and processes Experience conducting market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes for DoD Government Customers Experience developing white papers, business cases, and executive-level recommendations Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality Ability to take a conceptual discussion and build a presentation to convey the message. Highly motivated professional and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage. Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient MS Teams, Excel and Outlook application skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or field Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field. Security Pre-Requisite: To be considered, must have a Current/Active DoD SECRET clearance and be eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
