Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all Software builds for development, test, and release.
Create and maintain test and release baseline versions for all products.
Implement and maintain a code branching strategy within the Source Code Repository that will Support development, test, and product release.
Administer the Source Code Repository tools - create accounts, perform Upgrades, diagnose and remedy identified problems.
Troubleshoot build and release problems and develop and implement solutions.
Create and maintain automated scripts to deploy software builds into the test and production environments.
Initiate and monitor CAPS processing of image data - including measuring performance and throughput of software.
Work with development and quality assurance teams to identify and address any processing errors.
Generate and maintain Software Configuration Management SOPs and reports.
Assist in Software Configuration Management process audits.
Perform all other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS BS /MS in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three or more years of experience with software development, with working knowledge of software development degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred.
At least three years of SCM experience, including applying SCM/RM concepts, tools, and methodologies in complex,corporate environments.
Expertise in installation, Configuration and administration of industry SCM standard tools (i.e., Telelogic Synergy/CM,StarTeam, PVCS-Dimensions, MKS IM and SI, ClearCase/ClearQuest/UCM, Maven, Cruise Control, Anthill).
Strong Shell/Perl/Python Scripting expertise.
Experience in processing complex service requests, such as setting up project builds or creating new scripts, with appropriate controls.
Possesses working knowledge and hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technology, Microsoft VB/.NET Technology platforms.
Hands-on experience in customizing SCM tools to reflect a process workflow by creating and maintaining UserExits/Triggers, User Roles, Notification mechanisms, etc.
Hands-on experience with creating or customizing build automation tools Windows Server, Linux and UNIX environments.
Must possess a working knowledge of software development lifecycles and how they pertain to change/version control,
Creation and identification of baselines, and reporting of software Configuration management metrics.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, and Project is necessary.
