Job description

Job Title: Sr. Acquisition Manager
Clearance Required: U.S. Citizen, DHS Public Trust (EOD) (Secret or above preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid - Arlington, VA & Remote (2 days onsite at client site required) Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Acquisition Manager to support a cross-functional agile development team in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will, at a minimum, fulfill the responsibilities listed in the Responsibilities section. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Acquisition Decision Event activities through the full lifecycle
Manage the Acquisition Lifecycle Framework
Demonstrate an understanding of the Acquisition Governance Structure
Experience with Mission Capability, Operational Req, Acquisition Plan, Acquisition Decision Authority processes and documentation
Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders
Facilitate and managing Contract Management
Create and track Procurement Packages through ADE activities
Demonstrate a understanding of policies, processes, and documentation development
Apply the agile methodology and maintain ad hoc reporting
Maintain Procurement/Logistics Software reporting
Draft artifacts based on existing templates
Required Qualifications: Experience/Skills:
5 years in-depth experience managing and maintaining processes and procedures - previous Acquisition Decision Events (ADE) Experience Preferred
Highly organized with a thoughtful, methodical approach and the ability to pivot and adjust their approach to meet evolving requirements
Must be able to successfully complete the DHS security and suitability background check
Ability to be a team player, collaboration, and a leader
Ability to work remotely and utilize Microsoft Teams, Office Suite, and other emerging technologies
Must be proactive and able to use forward thinking that seeks solutions
Excellent customer service, attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications: Federal Government Experience; DHS preferred
Federal Procurement Experience; DHS preferred
Federal Finance Experience
Federal On-Boarding Experience
Preferred Certifications: FAC-C or DAWIA Levels 1-3
