Overview:
Rapiscan Government Services (RGS), an OSI Systems Company, is seeking a Sr Program Manager, to assist in running its growing Federal Government Services Business. RGS is growing and requires a Senior Program Manager capable of managing large government contracts. These government contracts are in the security space within DoD and DoS. RGS is seeking a Senior PM capable of managing our internal and external team to grow and expand our business within the Federal Government.
The Senior PM will meet with senior executives at DOD, DOS, and DHS departments and agencies as required to further develop relationships within the Federal Government space. Thus, enabling a better understanding of the Government's strategic objectives and acquisition plans. The Senior PM will be responsible for ensuring RGS meets customer contractual and program objectives, and ensure we present our best efforts to the Government.
RGS is an industry leader in Security Screening Technology and Solutions. In addition to providing a broad array of cargo and vehicle inspection technologies and services for ports, borders, military, high-threat facilities, and checkpoints to help customers combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud, Rapiscan is a respected Security Leader.
This position will also oversee our Facility Security responsibilities by ensuring we maintain our requirements with DCMA. At RGS, we have an important mission - to make the world a safer place. But we can't do it alone. We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage federal government programs and assist in the continued growth of our company.
Responsibilities:
Overall accountability and responsibility for the execution of Domestic, International and US Government revenue programs against company plans and objectives, contractual obligations and requirements, and key customer expectations.
Experience in managing large government programs.
Work closely with other departments leading assigned project teams.
Develop and monitor project schedule with cross functional team to meet customer and business needs.
Manage change control within the project as required.
Control the costs and scope of proposals submitted to customers to ensure they can be successfully executed to internal and external requirements.
Communicate risks, areas of concern, and overall recommendations (from a Program Management execution standpoint) to Senior Management.
Collaborate with Project Finance to provide weekly and monthly updates to the current year forecast against plan, quarterly ETC/EAC reporting at summary and detailed levels.

Perform duties as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) as required.
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Engineering, Science or Business - preferred
Strong Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate - preferred
8 plus years working on customer funded programs in a capital equipment company
Experience executing US Government capital equipment contracts a plus
Security Clearance Required: Secret
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other strong personalities.
Possess a working knowledge of budget and acquisition processes.
Demonstrated ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels.
Demonstrated ability to lead a cross function team to achieve operational/strategic goals and objectives.
Ability to mentor and coach junior staff members.
Must be detail oriented and able to function effectively in a fast paced, multitasking work environment.
Travel is required; upwards of 20%
