What we are looking for Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Arlington, VA. Location: Hybrid Remote (2-3 Days per week in office) The successful candidate will be accountable to: Recording and processing of accounts payable and cash receipts related to customer billing
Ensuring all invoices and employee reimbursements are on-time and in accordance with policies, expense codes, and cost centers
Maintaining accurate and compliant records
General financial reports analysis
Reconciling balance sheets and resolving discrepancies
Supporting audits request and executing corrective action plans
Processing payroll including bi-weekly timesheets, setting up new users in Deltek Time & Expense, and assigning charge codes
Working with employees and management to make adjustments and ensure Total Time Accounting compliance
Delivering exceptional service for our employees, customers and subcontractors
Collaborating with the HR team on fringe benefits, garnishments, tax withholdings, and other areas impacting payroll
Supporting the Controller and CEO with preparing and reviewing financial statement reports, tax schedules, budgets, and monthly/year-end close-out procedures using CostPoint
Drafting internal and external communication What you bring Experience, Education & Training: 3-5 years of experience working within Deltek Costpoint
Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and related legislation, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), in support of the government contracting services industry
Exceptional analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication
Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, etc. Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
