Job description

Overview The Senior Staff Analyst is an experienced analyst in support of the National Guard Bureau's J3/4/7-W Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Division. Contractor will directly support the Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support (WMD-CST) Branch. The WMD-CST provides direct support for planning, coordinating, facilitating, and attending the 10-day NGB Hosted WMD-CST ATRRS Courses (PCC and CST-Operations Course) (20-35 personnel each course) for the 54 States and Territories. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develops and reviews reports to include threat analysis of multiple branches within the United States. Coordinates with the Department of Energy, Secret Service, and the FBI.
• The Contractor shall provide event management services and facilitate each WMD-CST ATRRS Course.
• Coordinates and facilitates the employment of non-lethal weapons for law enforcement with Army and Air National Guard as well as Federal, State, local authorities.
• The Contractor shall support the Biannual WMD-CST Specialized Training Requirements Matrix (STRM) Reviews.
• The Contractor shall manage and attend Civil Support Team Working Group (CSTWG) Commander's Conference / NG CRE Joint Commander's Conference once a year.
• The Contractor shall manage and attend and participate in the Annual CSTWG Commander's Conference and CSTWG Functional Working Group Meetings. There are currently nine CSTWG Subgroups, which collectively hold approximately 5-10 CSTWG Subgroups Meetings per year.
• The Contractor shall provide summary reports, AAR's for courses conducted, reports specified within the PWS and upon request, the Contractor shall attend and participate in Division and Branch meetings too include providing meeting notes. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a Department of Defense Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• 10 years' experience of Operational and Planning Analysis Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: • Excellent proof-reading reading/attention to detail skills.
• Data base entry abilities.
• Ability to interpret regulatory guidance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with a broad range of Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of office machines to print, scan and fax documents.
