The Opportunity: As a Strategic Planner, you'll bring your subject matter expertise to support the development, management, and review of strategy and planning documents and associated senior leader meetings on these topics. You'll use your skills to assist in researching, writing, and coordinating strategy and planning documents across the Department of Defense. You Have: 2+ years of experience working on national security issues for a Combatant Command, Military Service, Joint Staff, member of Congress, or a think-tank Knowledge of the Department of Defense strategy and planning processes and strategic documents Ability to write and brief materials to senior leaders TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Master's degree in Security Studies, Foreign Policy, History, or Public Policy Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
