Job Details:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Architectural Construction Administrator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a professional who has this type of experience already and wants to learn more with our diverse team. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a range of projects, including commercial, and institutional buildings and federal government locations around the area and the world. This role requires an individual who has a strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and architectural design principles. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented, and innovative professional with a knack for problem-solving, we would love to hear from you. Applicants who speak spanish are preferred but not required. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Provides both subcontractor and materials invoices to project managers for approval 3. Create invoicing to customers with project managers concurrence.
4. Manage new bids as they come in and help project managers with estimating and tracking down pricing.
5. Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design standards and building codes.
6. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
7. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
8. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
9. Ensure that all construction activities adhere to established safety standards and regulations.
10. Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on architectural construction progress, issues, and solutions.
11. Conduct post-construction evaluations to assess the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
12. Accepts time sheets from employees, records time and resolves discrepancies. Provides completed time sheets to senior management for acceptance and transmits upon acceptance. Prepares and/or supervises preparation of complex payroll. Researches payroll issues. Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor's degree
2. A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural construction administration, with a focus on government construction projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Proficient in using architectural software such as AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
7. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement effective solutions.
