Job description

Title: Opentext DEVOPS Engineer Location: Remote Clearance: DoD Secret Job description/Requirements: Develops technical solutions for large-scale OpenText Content Server, hardware, software, and complex interfaces. Identifies technical standards. Develops system requirements and program specifications for complex OpenText solutions. Integrates Content Server for specialized functions with functional requirements to optimize solution for the customer. Designs, plans, and coordinates work within the teams. Provides technical support to project team members. Handles complex application features and technical designs, architects an end-to-end solution that will meet the business requirements. Designs and implements the components required for complex application features. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is the top-level contributor/specialist. Ensures the stable operation of the in-house OpenText software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues. Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications. Agile experience
Proficient in all .NET languages and Microsoft Visual Studio
Driving strategy and overseeing architecture of continuous integration and deployment, and monitoring across technologies
Demonstrated experience with defining Scrum Agile methodology for large scale clients
Demonstrated experience in leading DevOps methodologies
Demonstrated experience with implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Methodologies
Demonstrated experience with driving automated software development lifecycle toolchain
Demonstrated experience with deployments in both on premise and cloud environments
Experience serving as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment
Experience with DevOps services using infrastructure as a service providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace/OpenStack)
Using scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, GitHub, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM)
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, LXC, Docker, Rocket, OpenShift)
Experience developing executive level presentation, working with, and presenting to senior management
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of relevant experience
Five (5) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, two of which are specialized in concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with OpenText software
Two (2) years of experience in OpenText systems containing PII, PHI, and HIPPA information in a multi-tenant Government environment
DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II:
CompTIA Security+ Certification
OpenText Content Server System Administrator Certification 20.x or greater
