CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Team Leader - Water/Wastewater to join our Infrastructure - Water/Wastewater Team at our office in Blacksburg, VA or Richmond, VA.
YOUR IMPACT:
Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community's well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.
Project Team Leaders play a critical role in the execution of high-quality projects that support the needs of our clients. The Project Team Leader is responsible for overseeing both technical staff and those in project management roles to include reviewing appropriate staffing levels for the forecasted work, resource leveling, staff engagement, technical excellence and quality, and all operational activities so the team can function at an optimal level.
This individual is also responsible for the development of the staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. This individual will be measured relative to the team's project net revenue, project PF compared to budget, and expenses, as well as other metrics such as utilization and voluntary turnover. Additionally, as a Project Team Leader at CHA, individuals will also be expected to directly manage projects of varying size and scope.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required; Master's Degree preferred
PE or equivalent professional license preferred
PMP Certification preferred
A minimum of 10 years of experience required; a minimum of 8 years of project management experience required
Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required
Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships
Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments required
Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
Experience in Microsoft Office suite required
Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
An articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred
Ability to travel as needed required
SALARY RANGE
$157,000 - $202,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
