Systems Administrator (Senior) Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US CACI is seeking a Systems Administrator (Senior) to join our team to support our intelligence customer in Bluemont, VA. As a team, we will be responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities deployed across multiple security domains utilizing Agile scrum methodologies. Tailoring cutting-edge solutions to unique requirements of our clients, we will support multiple tenants deploy a myriad of application stacks and data services. Responsibilities: Develops technical solution for the management for software, hardware, configurations, and architecture. Provides interpretation to Systems matters that are moderately complex in nature. Provide troubleshooting support for systems hardware and software issues that are highly complex. Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software. May training large groups of end users. Performs advance software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Applies advanced knowledge in monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Provides guidance to less experienced personnel on workstation/server data integrity matters and the implantation of standard software and hardware solutions. Leads complex data/media recoverability following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Conducts advanced to complex hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configurations guidelines. Recognized subject matter expert in job area typically through advanced education and work experience. Established operational plans. Manages large projects with limited oversight form manager. Evaluates and assesses existing systems and plans long term strategies. May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals. May serve as a team or task leader (Not a people manager) Requirements: TS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI Poly Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience. Must have Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire. Experience working with trouble reporting and tracking systems such as Security+ UNIX, Windows, and/or Storage administration. Ability to respond to after hour calls "provide on-call support" and to travel 30% to local area sites as well as other locations with similar architecture/footprint. Travel can include OCONUS trips. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Desired Skills: Experience in the imagery intelligence domain a plus Ability to create and modify scripts in multiple disciplines on Windows, Linux, and Solaris systems Knowledge of the Customer's processes and procedures and of the Customer's production systems a plus Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and ability to function as a team member and independently. Prefer skills in one or more of the following: Window Server, Red Hat, IRIX, Solaris, Sybase, Informix, SQL, and Imagery Production Chain General knowledge of database administration, network administration and possess network configuration management skills. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
