What You'll Do:
ECS Limited has an exciting opportunity for a Accounting Program System Administrator to join our rapidly growing Corporate accounting team in Chantilly with a primary focus on the administration of Microsoft Dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail with the ability to proactively respond to requests to prevent potential issues, as well as establishing new and optimizing existing processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operation of accounting software systems.

Ensure systems are updated, secure, and running efficiently.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Provide technical support to accounting staff on system use.

Address and resolve user issues promptly.

Create and maintain documentation for system processes and procedures.

Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement new software solutions and system upgrades.

Manage system integrations with other business applications.

Ensure seamless data flow between systems.

Maintain system security by setting up and managing user accounts, permissions, and passwords.

Ensure systems comply with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP).

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

Oversee data entry, storage, and retrieval processes.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans.

Generate and analyze system reports to support financial decision-making.

Work with staff to create custom reports and queries as needed.

Identify opportunities for process improvements based on system data.

Lead and participate in projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Coordinate with vendors and consultants as needed.

Stay updated on new features and best practices through continuous learning.

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

3-5 years of relevant experience required.

Strong technical skills with accounting software and databases.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
