Koniag IT Systems,LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Cloud Project Manager/Scrum Master to support KITS and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a Remote opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, Agile methodologies, and a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and best practices. This is a remote position, and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance is required. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The Cloud Project Manager/Scrum Master will be responsible for leading and coordinating cloud-based projects, ensuring their successful delivery while adhering to Agile principles and methodologies. The core duties of this position include: Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets for cloud-based initiatives. Facilitating and leading Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews. Coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and stakeholders. Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensuring adherence to project management best practices, cloud computing standards, and compliance requirements. Monitoring project progress, performance metrics, and resource allocation, and taking corrective actions as needed. Fostering a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on cloud computing and/or Agile methodologies. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly preferred. Required Skills and Competencies: Proven experience in leading and managing cloud-based projects using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, architectures, and best practices. Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Proficiency in project planning, resource management, and budget forecasting. Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and competing demands. Knowledge of industry best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements. Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. Desired Skills and Competencies: Experience working with cloud service providers, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code. Familiarity with cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA). Experience working in a government or highly regulated environment. Knowledge of change management and organizational transformation principles. Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools. Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
