Job description

Contract Technical Specialist Our Project and Team
Newbrook Solutions is working with a highly skilled team to deliver cutting edge hardware and software in support of our customer's mission. Your Responsibilities
You will work with program teams providing technical and programmatic support for spacecraft and ground systems requirements. In your role you will assist in oversight and execution of contracts with industry partners. The position requires a successful candidate to demonstrate a technical understanding of space systems, a working knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations and a familiarity with systems engineering practices. • Monitor cost, performance and schedule to identify disconnects with awarded contracts.
• Support the tracking and reporting of contract status.
• Coordinate and assist in the approval of contract deliverables (CDRLs).
• Develop artifacts and briefings in support of acquisition boards and milestones.
• Support technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Review technical design documentation and provide feedback to the COTR and other customer stakeholders.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure completeness across the program.
• Other duties as specified by the COTR and Program Manager. Required Qualifications
• Working knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations.
• Knowledge of cost, schedule and performance trades to support requirements.
• Systems engineering, systems integration, or systems development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective customer relationships with senior level government personnel.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, time-critical support activities simultaneously, including analysis and data collection.
• Self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communications, technical/non-technical presentation skills.
Experience and Education Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 10 - 19 years experience
Desired Qualifications
• Working knowledge of the SIGINT engineering space.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence to manage work and collaborate. Clearance Requirement
