Job description

Our team has 2 openings for a Cyber Security Engineer position. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will deliver technical and network solutions to secure, maintain, and upgrade the online public portals utilizing cutting edge internet technologies and services. Primary responsibilities include: • Research, develop, maintain, and document methods and portal tools and work with internal and external teams to develop, document, and implement security and operations requirements • Support the customer's Risk Management Framework to ensure that the program addresses and mitigates vulnerabilities and risks identified throughout the lifecycle of the project • Track work requirements and action items to meet program deadlines and interface with stakeholders to ensure user stories are recorded Job Requirements • Experience configuring Virtual Private Servers (VPSs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs); experience with social media or commercial messaging applications; and an understanding of mobile technologies and applications • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues, and working with network monitoring tools • Experience scripting with Python, developing web interfaces with JavaScript/HTML/CSS or User Interface (UI) frameworks is highly desirable • Experience with internet networking and encryption protocols, and deep knowledge of how browsers interact with websites and browser security settings • Experience utilizing Content Delivery Networks and an understanding of how they interact with public services and websites • Experience using Tor and configuring and maintaining Tor Onion Services, and knowledge of open/dark web security settings and tools • Experience analyzing cyber selector data, system logs, and network traffic; experience conducting network and browser troubleshooting and experience designing and developing targeted content and messages using Confluence • Experience identifying, defining, analyzing, tracking, and reviewing requirements directly with customers Security Clearance Top Secret SCI w/ Polygraph Job Type Full-time StratasCorp provides a complete compensation package with competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA & HSA accounts, disability and other income protection benefits, life insurance, paid personal time-off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401K Saving Plan with a company matching contribution.
