Job description
Role: Financial Consultant (5 openings open to different levels)
Location: Chantilly, VA (5 days onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract (3 years)
Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly Top Skills:
• Bachelors' Degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting)
• Federal Financial Accounting
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance willing to work in Chantilly 5 days per week Entry Financial Consultant: Shall perform federal financial accounting; be capable of developing and modifying accounting models; have a clear understanding of the posting logic in accordance with U.S. Treasury United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL); understands their utilization within federal financial management systems and the Agency Financial report (AFR); shall independently review current practices and procedures throughout various financial components and suggest more efficient and effective procedures where appropriate. The Entry Financial Consultant shall have knowledge in the use of Excel; computer operating systems; multiple specialized applications. The Entry Financial Consultant shall have strong oral and written communications skills; ability to prepare responses to senior management, IG auditors, and customer inquiries: preparation of white papers; development of guidance and providing interpretation of various audit and accounting requirements.
