We are looking for HR Business Partner Director to join our Human Resources team in a high-visibility role focused on building and sustaining a successful HR business partnership and talent management and development function and closely aligning it to our business strategy. As the HR Business Partner Director, you will work closely with leaders and colleagues by addressing people, culture, performance, talent, and organizational needs across Arcfield. Reporting to the Vice President, HR Business Partner Director, you and your teammates will help set and execute the HR strategy in line with business priorities and drive the people operating plan across the company. You will serve as a liaison between with President of business units in the company and partner with our HR-focused teams (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and HR Information Systems) to develop and to execute initiatives in areas such as staffing; performance management; diversity, equity, and inclusion; culture; leadership development; training and development; employee relations; employee engagement; employee retention; compliance; mentoring; employee welfare; and compensation; and benefits). You also prepare recommendations to top leadership concerning HR policies and practices, as well as work with line/staff management and possibly corporate staff management to develop HR plans and strategies to meet organizational requirements. In short, you will play a critical role in helping to drive and achieve business objectives, providing outstanding internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and scalable growth in an exciting and dynamic environment.

The ability to diagnose challenges, research and analyze issues, and develop appropriate solutions quickly, then lean in, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect their sites and create new mechanisms as they are needed. A mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal, with flexibility for the situation and customer. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners and your customers. Experience in effectively briefing senior customers (incumbent will participate in business unit president weekly staff meetings and interact regularly with vice presidents and other business unit managers).
Excellent interpersonal skills. Outstanding teamwork skills, with a strong track record of building strategic relationships with your business partners. Superb customer service orientation and performance record, with the demonstrated ability to establish respect, credibility, and trust at all levels of the organization.
A keen focus on solutions and comfort working in an environment which demands effective deliverables and delivery often on tight deadlines. Demonstrated strong project management, change management, facilitative, and consulting skills.
Keen analytical skills using both qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources and ability to draw conclusions from that data.
Demonstrated ability to coach senior leaders, managers, and supervisors.
Qualifications Successful candidates will have: Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources or other relevant degree field. 16+ years of demonstrated experience as an HR practitioner with progressive HR business partner responsibilities.
Expertise in one or more key HR functional areas (e.g. leadership/talent development; talent management; total rewards, compensation, and benefits; talent acquisition; diversity, equity, and inclusion; data analysis; workplace accommodations; performance management; employee engagement; retention; policy; etc.)
Experience leading and developing teams/project teams with the ability to inspire, motivate, influence, and hold colleagues accountable to high standards.
Experience and strong track record providing excellent HR support to customers.
Demonstrated excellence in working well as part of a close-knit team.
Strong knowledge and experience with an HR Information System.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Skills and Experiences include: Strong working knowledge of and experience with Workday HRIS.
Post-graduate degree or related certification (e.g SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification).
Experience working in the US federal government contracting industry.
Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
