We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified HVAC technician with a Top-Secret security clearance with Full Lifestyle Polygraph to join our dedicated team. Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician should have a strong understanding of HVAC principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to specifications and local codes. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems, including refrigeration systems, motors, compressors, and thermostats. • Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly and make adjustments as needed. • Respond to service calls in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service. • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems. • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on larger installation and repair projects. • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology. • Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or technical school preferred. • Certification or license as an HVAC Technician in accordance with state and local regulations. • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools. • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods. Work Environment: • Work primarily takes place indoors but may occasionally involve outdoor work in various weather conditions. • May be exposed to loud noises, extreme temperatures, and hazardous materials. • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
