NOVARITY technical Services is seeking a talented and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Aerospace/Astrodynamics Engineer to join our team. This role involves direct support to a government customer in developing and evaluating new astrodynamics / space situational awareness (SSA) techniques. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evaluate new astrodynamics techniques.
• Perform space situational awareness (SSA) analyses.
• Inform the design and development of aerospace systems.
• Use optical, radar, or radio frequency (RF) sensors to conduct satellite orbit estimation, prediction, and mission planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Qualifications:
• Bachelors in a STEM field (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with astrodynamics and space situational awareness (SSA) concepts and applications.
• Proficiency in using optical, radar, or RF sensors for satellite orbit estimation, prediction, and mission planning.
• Experience in software development, testing, and validation is preferred.
• Proficiency in one of the following computer languages: C, C++, Fortran, Java, MATLAB, Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Advanced degree (master's or Ph.D.) in a STEM field (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
• Experience in aerospace systems design and development.
• Familiarity with government and defense projects.
